Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known character was that of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her hand at TV as well as film roles. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. She continued to appear as guest stars on a few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she was cast in a recurring role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was another of her characters. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the play Numbered Day. It is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's personal life.
