Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. She has been a well-known actress on television. De La Garza is a stunning actress born in the year 1976, in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American dad and an Irish American mother. In the next few years, she moved to Texas in search of a physical therapy career in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor on local independent film as well as international commercials. Despite having small roles, she soon realized that she was drawn to performing. After moving to New York and in 2001 she got her first role in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of the decade, she appeared in small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004 on the short drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 seasons. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. Milano. She is born of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Milano was born into a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano began her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her for an audition. She was one of the four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano performed on TV ads and off Broadway shows, including the American premiere musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
